You're asked this question at various places when purchasing new electronics for home or car. The problem is that most places have far too many stipulations in order to honor a service plan. In your mind, if your product goes bad, you'd get a new one. This is certainly the case at Custom Sounds. However, many other places would take your unit in and attempt to service it.

This is a problem for me, especially with respect to car stereo. If my radio stops functioning properly due to a manufacturer defect, I don't want to wait however many weeks to get my product back. And frankly, I don't want it repaired. I want a new one, and I want it now. If the company installed this unit, I don't want to pay to have it installed again, either. At Custom Sounds, if you have any problems with your system, be it speakers or electronics, we swap out whatever the bad unit is for 2 years from the date of your purchase. The manufacturer’s standard warranty doesn't allow for an immediate swap. It’s for repair only. It also doesn't cover removal, re-installation or shipping. Our service plans cover all of the above.
